The Investment Committee maintains a written set of Investment Guidelines that reflect the statutory constraints. These guidelines include specification of the investment objectives of the System, the target asset allocations, and the appropriate benchmarks used for evaluating the performance of the funds, the asset classes within the funds, and each investment manager.
