The Affordable Care Act is a federal law that requires almost everyone in the U. S. to have medical coverage. Every SURS member who had medical coverage during 2015 through the state will receive a 1095-B and/or 1095-C form from CMS or the insurance provider.
The 2015 State of Illinois Medicare Advantage (TRAIL) open enrollment period for participating annuitants and survivors is October 15 – November 16, 2015.
SURS benefit recipients may be eligible to participate in the State of Illinois Employee Group Insurance Program or the College Insurance Program (CIP).
