SURS Discontinuing Paper Check Stubs

Electronic Check Stubs

SURS July 2016 benefit payment notifications (check stubs) will be mailed at the end of June. It will be the final time most members will receive a paper check stub. Beginning in July, all members who have a valid email address on file with SURS and who receive payment through direct deposit will receive an electronic notification when a payment has been issued. The notice will direct members to log in to their secure Member Website to view their payment details.

The Member Website is available 24 hours a day and allows members to view and print check stubs, payment history and tax forms under the My Payment tab. Members may also update personal information, print forms and access helpful resources.

Members who have not previously created a personal account through SURS Member Website can do so at www.surs.org.Click on the gold Member Website Login button at the top of the homepage and follow the prompts.

Members not receiving payment through direct deposit will continue to receive paper notifications. Members who do not have a valid email address on file will receive paper notifications if their benefit amount decreases.

Electronic payment notification is more secure, environmentally friendly and provides substantial cost savings.
