Member Service Representative - Pay Benefits Team

Main duties:

  • Processing pay benefits work including completion of pay benefits records and payment for refunds, retirements, death benefits, disability, survivor and others
  • Maintaining check-writing files
  • Written communication with members and external agencies
  • Vouchering daily check-writing runs
  • Updating member demographics
  • Assisting in processing quarterly earnings reports to disability recipients
  • Being an active team member of pay benefits/insurance team
  • Approving daily ACH transfers
  • Maintaining annual verification processes

Desirable Credentials and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or associate’s degree and at least one year of customer service experience, or high school diploma with three years of customer service related experience
  • Detail oriented
  • Mathematical background
  • Self-motivator
  • Intuitiveness
